Study On Potential Environmental Education Tourist Activity In The Situgede Ecotourism Destination

Abstract

SituGede is a valuable environmental asset for soil and water ecosystems in Bogor City and its surroundings. Productive use of this area can be done through ecotourism with the concept of returning to nature, which has become a contemporary lifestyle that is increasingly popular during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was made to see the potential for environmental education in the area. Environmental Education is an important key to spread sustainable life style to the community, especially the visitors. The research method used is a qualitative method in which data collection uses a snow ball technique. The results of this study prove that the SituGede Ecotourism area has potential spots that can be arranged for environmental education tourism activities.
