Abstract

Abstract

Currently, the implementation of tourism in rural areas is increasingly widespread in Indonesia. Rural tourism is
a form of alternatives tourism located in a rural area in which there is a certain attraction. Rural tourism attractions
consist of natural resources, culture of rural communities, arts, achitecture, community lifestyles, also values that
have been passed down from generation to generation. The main attraction of rural tourism owned by Wabula
Village is natural attraction, culutural, and community activities. Rural tourism is a type of tourism that utilizes
local resources in the form of culture and community activities. Therefore, the development of rural must be based
on the values and culture that exist in the community, or in other words we need to implement community-based
rural tourism development. In addition, participation and empowerment of local communities is also needed. So,
they can be involved in the implementation and development of rural tourism activities
