DAMPAK REDENOMINASI TERHADAP INFLASI

Abstract

Redenomination is a simplification of the nominal value of the currency by
reducing digit (zero number) without reducing the real value of the currency. This
study will provide an overview of the impact of redenomination to changes in
inflation.
This study uses panel data regression analysis method. data used in this
study are 14 states that have done redenomination.
The results showed that the rate of inflation after the redenomination will
be lower than the rate of inflation before the redenomination.
